Thailand's Visa

As a general rule, any foreigner seeking entry into the Kingdom of Thailand for business, investment, study, medical treatment, mass media, religion, employment and other purposes is required to apply for a visa from a Thai Embassy or Consulate-General.

However, passport holders from 40 countries including Singapore, Republic of Korea, Japan, US, Australia, Canada, UK, and Hong Kong SAR do not require a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes if their stay in the Kingdom does not exceed 30 days. For participants who have to apply for Thailand's visa, please contact the Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates in your countries and the contact details can be found at http://www.thaiembassy.org.

For the REGISTERED AUTHORS who need the hardcopy of signed invitation letter for visa application purpose, please send the e-mail to icics05@kmitl.ac.th under the topic "Request for Signed Official Invitation Letter." In the e-mail, please include your accepted and registered paper ID and its title with your mailing information.
